The world of anime and manga is experiencing a new golden age thanks to the enormous interest that the new generations are showing towards the Japanese comics. In particular, the pandemic has accelerated this process, leading many to discover these fantastic worlds through the great streaming portals, libraries and the online market.

But what determines the success of an anime or manga title? And how can the impact of an anime’s success affect the sales of the manga from which it is made? These are just some of the topics that will be discussed during the panel that will see the participation of historical exponents of Italian manga publishing, including Alberto Galloni, Max Ciotola and Gianluca "Giaggiu" Fini by AnimeTeaTime and two young creators who are determining a new stage in the dissemination of the manga in Italy: Marta Lo Papa and Martina Bianchi of GiapCult.

The moderator of the panel will be Alessandro Falciatore, who will lead the discussion on the secrets of the success of anime and manga and their impact on popular culture. Guests will provide a detailed analysis of the influences of the most successful manga and anime, highlighting the factors that made them so popular among the audience.
