Romics d’Oro Award Ceremony

The extraordinary quality and artistry of Italian comics is celebrated by awarding the Romics d’Oro to three great authors: Altan, master of satire and creator of La Pimpa, one of the authors most deeply rooted in our collective imagination; Tito Faraci one of the most important Italian comic book writers who has created stories for Topolino, Dylan Dog, Tex, Diabolik, Magico Vento, Spider-Man, Devil and Captain America, the protagonist of two appointments that will also involve authors who have collaborated with him including Giorgio Cavazzano, Silvia Ziche, Giuseppe Palumbo and Sio for a great journey through Italian comics; Federico Bertolucci, a talented cartoonist who was nominated for Eisner Awards for his extraordinary work with Love, creator of Brindille, a comic strip told in an original exhibition, whose character is the protagonist of the Romics XXVI campaign. Straight from the world of special effects, the celebration as Golden Romics of Stuart Penn, Visual Effects Supervisor for the British studio Framestore, among his major works: Gravity, Avatar, Avengers – Endgame, Guardians of the Galaxy, Iron-Man 3.
