Street Art: the urban dimension and its visual narration.
Street art and the relationship with the urban environment, the urgency of a narrative that crosses the boundaries of the spaces traditionally intended, through illustrated universes that blend with the physical places of the city. What is the role of street art today, what are the themes addressed by artists, what is the relationship with institutions and what are the narrative challenges of contemporary art?
Rome is among the sources of inspiration for artists, it is the city that has seen the birth of different experiences of wall art as one of the tools of urban regeneration and social inclusion.
Through the experiences of internationally known street artists, who have always talked with the city, dealing with important and urgent issues, dealing with pop culture and its transmedial dimension, we try to approach these questions.
